SSI Professional Courses

The SSI Dive Control Specialist course is thorough and demanding. This is where SSI sets all of its dive theory for the professional level. You are becoming an Assistant Instructor here, so the theory is very important. We will also spend a lot of time in the pool and on the beach. Your dive skills will be at demonstration standard after this course.

This course gives you all the rights and obligations of an Assistant Instructor and should you decide to move on to the Open Water Instructor level, you will be well prepared.

The SSI Dive Guide course is intended for those who want to guide only, not assist in teaching. It gives a very useful grounding for future work as a Dive Guide. It is also very suitable for those who don't want to get into the extensive theory of the SSI Dive Control Specialist or PADI Divemaster course.

The SSI Divemaster course adds the SSI Science of Diving Specialty to the Dive Guide course. The SSI Divemaster rating is a recognition level and the rights and limitations are the same as for the SSI Dive Guide.

The prices are all-inclusive. They include not only your own training materials for each specific course but also the application fees to SSI and the first year of SSI membership. They do not include equipment rental.
