PADI Professional Courses

The PADI Divemaster course is thorough and demanding. This is where PADI sets all of its dive theory for the professional level. We take the theoretical aspects of the Divemaster course very seriously at Scandinavian Scuuba Doo. We will also spend a lot of time in the pool and on the beach. Now is the time to get all your dive skills up to demonstration standard.

You will also get many open water dives. You are naturally assured of individual attention in this most personal of PADI courses.

The course may take from two to eight weeks, and sometimes even longer, depending on how well prepared you are. We have set the price to ensure a really great quality course where no corners will be cut. It also happens to be good value for money but we are not - and do not aim to be - the cheapest centre for DM training in any way. You will however be turned into a superlative dive professional.

The prices are all-inclusive as listed below and there are no extras apart from the application fees to PADI and the optional extra of equipment rental for the duration of your Divemaster course. It is always a good idea for a budding dive professional to have his or her own equipment and we can guide you as to good value, good quality equipment if you do not already have it.

Location: Pool and beach (and maybe boat at Scuuba Doo's discretion)

Number of dives: 20 OW beach dives
(60 required for certification)

Minimum age: 18 years

Duration: 2 - 8 weeks or more as necessary

Prerequisites: current medical exam for scuba diving not older than one year signed by physician, Rescue diver certification from any recognized agency, minimum 40 logged open water dives to start, current CPR & First Aid training (not older than 24 months)

Course includes: extensive classroom & pool training, minimum 20 open water dives from the beach during DM course, lunches when on the day trip boat, free pickups*

Course does not include: scuba equipment rental, DM application fees to PADI, scuba dives prior to or after DM course, any courses such as Rescue or EFR prior to DM course

Price: 34,000 baht

Optional extra: Full scuba equipment rental for duration of the course (no matter how long it takes) 6,000 baht
