The Scandinavian-run M/V Oktavia liveaboard does things a little bit differently. All of them well.

Expect high safety standards, such as CCTV-monitored decks, proper life rafts and first-aid trained personnel. Safety is not just a byword here.

Oktavia has its own professional snorkelling guides onboard, so all non-diving folks can expect a great trip as well. There's lots of space onboard. This boat is one of the biggest liveaboards in the Andaman Sea, yet will take only 20 guests. There are double beds and bunk beds for two or three people and no less than four shared toilets. There are even two 25 m² Master Suites available with their own private ensuites at a reasonable surcharge!

Here's one boat where kids are always welcome. There is children's size snorkeling equipment onboard, too, and many games.

The itinerary is special and very convenient. Oktavia offers everything from two-day to five-day dive trips and uniquely, the quiet and undisturbed Surin Islands are offered in most itineraries!

At least one of the friendly Swedish owners of M/V Oktavia always stays onboard for every trip, so the quality isn't just very high but also very consistent.

Prices for liveaboard cruises include:
Transfers as detailed above. Accommodation on board, all meals, snacks, drinking water, tea, coffee, tanks (excepting NITROX!), weights, weight belts and dive guide

Prices for liveaboard cruises do not include:
Soft drinks, alcohol, any diving courses or nitrox tanks, rental equipment

Booking Policy:
On receipt of a 25% deposit at least 30 days ahead of the specified cruise, we will send you a confirmation. The remaining balance of 75% must be paid into the account of Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Co., Ltd. at least 7 days before departure. If Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Co., Ltd does not recieve the balance in time, we retain the right to cancel the booking and the spaces may be resold.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations can only be acknowledged if received IN WRITING, by fax (+66 76 333 607) or by email. Cancellations by telephone are not acceptable.
Cancellation received at least 30 days prior to departure: Deposit returned less bank fee.
Cancellation received between 30 and 7 days prior to departure: Deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellation received less than 7 days prior to departure: Full cruise price will be charged

Insurance:
Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Co., Ltd. strongly recommend that each guest purchase comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation/interruption insurance when space is reserved. Please be advised that if the guest chooses NOT to purchase trip insurance, Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Co., Ltd. and MEDEDO Adventures Co., Ltd. will not be held responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control.
