Emergency First Response (EFR)
The Emergency First Response is a very structured, excellent First Aid course. In the Primary Care module you learn how to give life support, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR. In the Secondary Care module you learn First Aid for non-life threatening injuries.

The curriculum is top-notch following the latest ILCOR recommendations. The best thing about this course is that it encourages the Emergency Responder to 'give it a go'. This is better than doing nothing at all. There is much that a trained layperson can do!

This is a course for everyone! It is not diving-related. The EFR Primary and Secondary Care course does however fill the prerequisites for the PADI and SSI Rescue courses.

The Emergency First Response Care For Children course is specifically tailored for  attending to children and infants. This course is very useful for all you teachers and youth leaders out there. It can easily be combined with the regular EFR course and hence both courses are easily done in a day.

We have an EFR Instructor Trainer permanently on staff and offer the Emergency First Response Instructor course for those of you who want to teach proper First Aid. This is a superb course for PADI Divemaster and SSI Dive Leader candidates.

We use our real-life experience of primary care to ensure that all EFR students get very realistic training. We never rush. A full day will help you feel more competent. If you're well-prepared and the group is small we can do it in less time.
