Scandinavian Scuuba Doo is run by dive instructors who have been very lucky in doing their own courses with some of the very best instructors in the business. From cave instructors in Mexico to rebreather instructors in Thailand and the Red Sea to instructor trainers in Malta, Egypt and Sweden, we've been fortunate in being trained by the elite ourselves.

Now we want to pass on this knowledge to you.

SSI (Scuba Schools International) was founded in 1970 in the USA by Bob Clarke. SSI was first to introduce a complete training program with multimedia in the 1970's. In 2008, SSI changed ownership and its global headquarters are now in Germany. Since 2008 it has grown extremely rapidly to become the largest diver training organisation in Australia and Vietnam, and many other countries are now set to follow suit. The nearest SSI office is right here in Phuket, Thailand. We can get manuals in most languages the same day you sign up with us. Even better: your permanent SSI certification card will be issued almost immediately. It is the largest recreational diver membership and diver training organization in the world. Globally, more people still learn to dive through PADI than through any other system. PADI offers training materials in an unparalleled range of languages. We work with several major distributors of PADI materials here in Phuket. This means we can usually get you the course manual in your own language the same day that you sign up for your course with us. You have a full choice of course offerings, from try dives right up to professional level with us and PADI. See below for more information.
